Well, this is my (our) first blog. I never thought that I'd have a blog because I don't think we have anything that interesting going on in our lives, but hey, who knows, we might surprise ourselves. Hmmm, blog, thats a funny name. Where did the name blog come from? I looked it up and this is what I found: A blog (an abridgment of the term web log) So I guess someone decided that its too hard to say web log so they left out the letters we which gives us the word blog. Ok I guess I can live with that but I still think its a dumb name.

We just moved into a house in Gilbert. We are renting which wasn't our first plan but after many months of looking at houses to buy we made the hard decision that we just aren't ready to buy right now. But we love our house, its a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, a backyard with a play set and its in such a nice area. Members of our ward live up and down our street and lots of kids! I don't think we could of asked for a better place to live! Before we lived in a 2 bedroom apartment for 3 years, I just have one word to explain what life was like there, ghetto. Once there was a drive by shooting, oh wait it was twice in front of our apartment but across the street. A lady got mugged walking in front of our apartment, um lets see, there were always crazy people walking down our street so yeah, the ghetto is where we used to live. You might ask why did we live there? Well, the only reason is so Jake could go to school at DeVry which was down the street. Anyways, so now we are living a more normal life, life is good right now. Kayla likes her new school and Samantha loves playing on the play set where she yells for the boys next door to us to talk to her. Its so funny she yells, "hey boy!" "hey boy!" LOL Well I think I better stop blogging so I can get some things done. Thanks for stopping by, keep web logging!
