Richardson Family Campout

This is the Richardson family train up at Cedar Ranch where we have our annual family campout every Memorial Day weekend. This train is amazing, it can go anywhere! Its a lot of fun to ride especially when it gets bumpy and the smoke blows in your face. LOL This is Kayla and Samantha with their cousin Erin. They had so much fun playing together along with soooo many other kids there! We slept in a tent and at night it was so freezing! We had to layer our clothes and sleep with lots of blankets. And the wind is terrible there! But luckily it wasn't as windy as it has been in the past. On our drive up, it snowed! Yep thats right snow! It was between Payson and Heber and it was like winter there! So we stopped for a few minutes and played in it.

This is Jakes family, all his brothers and sisters, minus one brother because he left but we are all surrounded by his grandparents. Behind us is the heritage wall where Jake's uncle Gary always has something new for us to learn about his ansestors. Not everyone was there but if they were, it would be about 100 people!
This is Jake's brother Austin wearing a sombrero, I couldn't resist taking his picture!LOL

Working at Kohl's

Well, I just started working at Kohl's on Saturday. Its one of my favorite stores so I'm happy to be working there. The job is pretty easy, I've done retail before and so it was just getting to know their system and policies. I just needed to find a part time job, it doesn't pay as much as I was hoping for but hopefully I'll be able to get a raise soon. So if you're ever in south Gilbert, come in and say hi and I'll sign you up for a Kohl's charge card, haha.

They're back...

So, anyone know who these guys are? I'll give you some clues. A famous boy band back in the early 90's, they're from Boston, some of their hit songs were Hangin' Tough, The Right Stuff, and Step by Step. Give up? Well if you do...than you lived under a rock as a kid. LOL
Just kidding, I'm just havin' some fun. New Kids On The Block reunited and they have made a new album with their first single just released, Summer Time. This pic was taken today at The Today show where they performed for the first time in 15 yrs. They sounded pretty good and even danced a little. I was a big fan when I was 13 and 14 yrs old and have become one again. If you haven't heard their new song yet, its on my playlist. They're coming to Phoenix in October and I'm thinking about going, anyone want to go with me? Ok you can all stop laughing at me now...

Great news!

Nathen and Nina are going to be parents! Thats right Nina is pregnant. Nathen called me Sunday(Mother's Day) and said she found out that day, perfect day to find out! Right now just for the summer they are living in Chicago. They are working for a company that sells security systems. Then they will be back at BYU Idaho in the fall for school.
Other news, Sharlee will be graduating in June and then will also be going to BYU Idaho in the fall. So when Sharlee moves out, my dad and Randee will be all alone! Finally no kids left in the house! But it will only last until Ben comes home from his mission.

I met Ali and Bettie Sue

Well once again I met some people from The Biggest Loser. My friend called me Sat. when I was in Washington and told me the news that Bettie Sue and Ali were going to be meeting people on Tues. So last night I went to a restaurant and met Bettie Sue(above) and her daughter Ali. If you don't remember in my post about meeting Bob, Ali won this past season and she was the 1st woman to win. When I went up to Bettie Sue, she said I looked familiar and I told her we met at Bob's book signing. She remembered me, if made me feel so special. She is such a sweet person and so much fun to talk to.

Ali is awesome! She is an amazing person who inspires me to be a better woman. Look how tiny she is! Its just amazing at how much weight she has lost...112 lbs! It was such an honor to meet her, I was kinda nervous but she was so easy to talk to that I immediately felt comfortable. Anyways, I had a lot of fun, there wasn't that many people there which made it nicer to be able to talk to them more. Lets see who will I meet next...Kae and Nicole from season 4?

Sharlee's Prom

Sharlee had her Senior Prom the same day as Cody's wedding. None of us got to see her date pick her up because we were at the reception! So later we surprised Sharlee by going over to her date's house where they were eating dinner. She was probably embarrassed but we didn't care. We wanted to see how she looked on her special night. Randee did a great job on making the dress! Sharlee looked beautiful!

New Hair/Kayla's School Performance

I just darkened my hair yesterday, what do you all think? I didn't want to show up to Cody's wedding with my gray hair, yes I have lots of gray hair on top of my head, I'm getting so old! Samantha took this picture, not bad for a 3 year old!
All the second grade classes did a Patriotic performance yesterday, it was pretty cute. They all sang songs about America and some kids had things to say, not Kayla but she did a good job singing. This is her afterwards, I didn't get any good pics of her singing cuz we were too far back.
